Privacy Policy

NZ Webshops (incoporating The Art Store.co.nz)  operates, as do our other sites in strict accordance with the Victoria Office of Fair Trading Guidelines on internet trading. We will ensure we conform to any similar New Zealand guidelines.

Privacy is very strict. Since we are a family owned & operated business (no employed staff) you may be guaranteed total honesty in our dealings. Furthermore we do not, and will never, pass on any form of information about our customers to any third party.

We do not telemarket,  nor send out promotional e-mails, leaflets, flyers and the like. In outgoing orders we do insert leaflets & product flyers  catalogue if is available.

Unless there is a valid reason to contact you then be assured we will not.

Payments

Your payment is NOT processed upon receipt of your order. We do not employ a third party i.e. a bank, to process payments automatically.  We will not engage any third party directly to your transaction.

We only process your payment as the final act in despatching your order. You will also receive a full itemised and priced invoice + the receipt from processing your card along with your order.

As at 12 September 2006 we have an account with the ASB   012-3188-00242792-50   in the name of Webshops for customers wishing to pay via direct debit. This information and procedure is also within the checkout system.

Your card details are not permanently held within any part of our shopping basket software. We print out your order and delete the data from the computer.

Our web server is also NZ owned & operated and we have used the company for 7 years. You may look them up on www.apphosting.com We have full confidence in that company's credibility and security systems.
